Celebration of National Science Day

On 28th February 2025, Department of Physics, Shri Datta Arts, Commerce and Science College, Hadgaon, celebrated National Science Day to commemorate the discovery of the Raman Effect by Indian physicist Sir C.V. Raman.
The program began at 11:00 am, and Dr. Dilip Kakde, Incharge Principal, presided over the function. The event started with the felicitation of Sir C.V. Raman, where Dr. Dilip Kakde offered a shawl and a bouquet as a mark of respect.
In his address, Dr. Kakde emphasized the significance of National Science Day and the contributions of Sir C.V. Raman to the field of science. He encouraged students to pursue careers in science and research, highlighting the importance of scientific literacy and innovation in today's world.
The program also included a series of events, such as science exhibitions, quizzes, and demonstrations, which showcased the scientific talents of the students.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, and the students were inspired to develop a deeper appreciation for science and its applications.
